I designed a fan vinyl cover for Mitski’s song Heaven, inspired by its delicate beauty and underlying melancholy. To bring the concept to life, I collected and dried flowers, photographed and edited the composition, and created a physical mockup of the final piece. The design features two unfolding layers that gradually reveal the emotional depth of the song, a quiet interplay of love and longing. The imagery presented below includes some of the experiments with visuals that were not included in the final design.
